Push-lock clasp.
The front flap closes with a metal push-lock clasp. Antique brass on the brown, polished silver on the black. It keeps the small pocket under the flap shut and opens with one thumb.
Without: a magnetic snap can pop open when the bag gets knocked.

Leather strap, swivel hook.
A single flat leather strap, set with a metal buckle. At the base it clips to a D-ring with a swivel hook, so the strap turns with you instead of twisting.
Without: webbing straps fray at the edges and plastic buckles crack in the cold.

Two front zips.
Two zips on the front. One opens the main compartment. The other opens the lower front pocket, so the small things stay out from under the tablet.
Without: one big pouch means digging past everything to find your keys.

Riveted at the top.
The strap is stitched to the top of the bag and set with a metal rivet. It is not removable, so there is no clip up top to come loose.
Without: a clip-on strap at the top is one more part that can let go.

Main zip compartment.
The main zip runs around the upper front of the body. Inside: 7.5 litres, lined in high-density polyester twill, with room for an 11-inch iPad.
Without: a sling too small for a tablet sends you back to a backpack.

A zip pocket runs across the back panel. With the bag on, it sits against your body. A good place for a passport or cards.
Without: an outside pocket is the easiest one for someone else to reach.

Three details that separate Bellvari from the rest.
The Metro uses 2 mm full-grain leather. No PU, no bonded leather, no plastic hardware. Made in Canada by a Canadian-owned brand.
Full-Grain Leather
The strongest part of the hide, 2 mm thick. Brown is crazy-horse pull-up leather: it lightens where it creases and darkens where you touch it. Black has a pebbled grain that holds its colour. Never bonded, never PU.
Stitched Seams
Stitching runs along every panel edge and around the front flap. The strap is stitched and riveted at the top, where the weight of the bag hangs.
Metal Hardware
Antique brass on the brown. Polished silver on the black. Zip sliders, clasp, buckle, D-rings and swivel hook are all metal.
The leather tells the years.
Crazy Horse pull-up leather is meant to be worn. Lighter marks and changes in tone are part of its character, shaped by how you use and care for it.

Warm cognac with natural variation in tone and grain.

Scuffs and lighter pull-up marks can appear where the leather bends and is handled.

What are the dimensions?
14 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep (36 × 20 × 11 cm). It holds 7.5 litres and weighs 1 kg empty.
Will my iPad fit?
The Metro’s specification lists an 11-inch iPad in the main compartment. Screen size is a guide; actual fit depends on the iPad model and any case. Listed bag dimensions are exterior measurements.
For help checking a particular model, email support@bellvari.ca with the device and case dimensions before ordering. For laptop carry, the Messenger has a padded sleeve with a specified capacity of up to 17 inches; check device and case dimensions there too.
How many pockets does it have?
Four. On the front: the main zip compartment, a lower zip pocket, and a small pocket under the clasp flap. On the back: one zip pocket that sits against your body.
Is the strap removable?
No. It is stitched and riveted at the top and clips to a D-ring at the base with a swivel hook. It adjusts with a metal buckle.
Can I wear it on either shoulder?
Yes. There is a D-ring at both bottom corners. Clip the strap to either one to wear it over your left or right shoulder.
Is this a men's bag?
No. It is unisex. The strap adjusts, and it is worn across the chest or on the back.
What is the difference between brown and black?
Brown is crazy-horse pull-up leather with antique-brass hardware. It shows scratches and darkens with use. Black is pebbled full-grain leather with polished-silver hardware. It stays closer to how it arrived.
What is it lined with?
High-density polyester twill.
Rain, snow and road salt: will it survive?
Yes, with a little care. No leather is waterproof. Wipe off salt and water the same day with a warm damp cloth, no soap. Condition it before winter and again in spring. Salt left to dry can leave white marks.
Can I take it on a plane?
It is a small bag at 14 × 8 × 4.5 inches, but airline limits vary. Check your airline before you fly.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Manufacturing defects for as long as you own the bag: stitching, hardware and leather integrity. We repair it first, and replace it if a repair is not possible. It does not cover normal wear, misuse, accidental damage or cosmetic aging of the leather.

Free standard shipping to Canada and the US. Applicable taxes and US import duties are shown at checkout.
Request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging. You cover return postage.
Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind. Contact support@bellvari.ca if an item arrives damaged or the engraving differs from your confirmed design.
