YKK-grade teeth on a solid brass slider. The pull is the metal — when it scratches, more brass shows through. Quiet, fast, won't pit through a thousand TSA scans.

Hidden RFID-shielded back pocket.
A back-panel zip pocket lined with woven RFID-blocking fabric — physically blocks the 13.56 MHz frequency contactless cards and passports broadcast. Sits flush against your back when worn. Skimmers can't read what's inside.
Without: open back pockets are how cards get cloned at airports and how phones get lifted in train cars.
Travel-spec security
Antique brass swivel snap clips.
Solid brass spring-loaded swivel clips at both bottom D-rings. Strap detaches one-handed — pack it, swap it, hand-carry the satchel bare. Brass, not plated zinc.
Without: plastic clips snap when full. Plated alloy bends and loses spring tension after a year of daily use.
Welded brass, not stamped
Riveted leather D-ring anchors.
Where cheap satchels fail first. Each D-ring tab is bartacked at the body junction, double-stitched, brass-riveted through. Cut edges hand-painted in three coats. The strap will outlast the leather.
Without: single-stitched anchor tabs tear free at the rivet under shoulder load. The bag drops mid-stride.

Adjustable 30–55" leather strap.
Solid brass adjuster buckle on a full-grain leather strap. Wide swing for crossbody on a long coat, short pull for over-the-shoulder. Same strap, every season.
Without: fixed-length straps fit one body and one wardrobe. Strap webbing frays where it folds back.

Will an 11" iPad actually fit?
Yes — fits a standard 11" iPad in a slim sleeve, with room for a Kindle, passport, wallet, and AirPods. A 13" laptop will not fit; this satchel is sized for tablets and e-readers.
Is the RFID pocket actually shielded?
Yes. The back-panel pocket is lined with woven RFID-blocking fabric that physically blocks the 13.56 MHz frequency used by contactless cards and passports. Skimmers can't read what's inside.
Can the strap be removed? Can I carry it as a clutch?
Yes to both. Solid metal swivel snap clips at both bottom D-rings detach the strap one-handed. Pack the strap and hand-carry the satchel like a clutch for dinner — or swap it for a different strap entirely.
What's the strap length range? Will it fit my body?
The leather strap is adjustable from 30 to 55 inches via the brass buckle. Comfortably fits crossbody on bodies from about 5'4" to 6'2" — short pull for over-the-shoulder, full extension for crossbody on a long coat.
Is it carry-on / TSA friendly?
Yes. Sized well under personal-item dimensions for every major airline. Slides into the seat pocket on tight regional flights, sits flat under the seat on long-haul. Solid metal hardware shows clean on X-ray.
Will it survive daily use? Sweat, rain, transit?
Yes. Full-grain pull-up leather is the toughest grade available. Pull-up oils on the brown give natural water resistance — light rain, snow, sweat are fine. Bartacked stress points handle the daily commute. Patina deepens; the bag doesn't break.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a dry cloth between trips. Condition every 3–6 months — our Leather Care Kit is matched to the tannage. Store in the dust bag at home. Don't submerge it.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Defects in materials or workmanship — stitching, hardware, leather integrity. Repaired or replaced, our choice. Doesn't cover normal wear (patina is a feature, not a defect), accidental damage, or loss.

Free shipping on every order, no minimum. Ships within 1–2 business days from Ontario, Canada. 30 days from delivery to return or exchange — bag must be in resaleable condition. Lifetime warranty thereafter for any defect in materials or workmanship.
