Storability
When you're not packing
Folds flat. Stands up. Stays out of the way.
A full-grain duffel that disappears between trips. Empty, the bag flattens to about two inches at its thickest point. Slim enough to slide onto a shelf, sturdy enough to stand on its edge in a closet corner.
Packed vs. empty
Same bag, two states. Packed at 21 × 12 × 9 inches for a three-day kit. Empty, it folds to a slab about the thickness of a paperback.
Stands like a folder
Stand the empty bag on its long edge in the corner of a closet, beside the suitcases. Reinforced, double-stitched seams hold the silhouette upright. It doesn't slump. Pull it out by the top handle when the next trip comes.
Packs flat
Empty, the bag folds to about two inches at its thickest point. Slide it onto the shelf above your hanging coats. Slide it under the bed. Full-grain leather takes a set: the more it's stored flat, the flatter it settles.

Metal zipper pulls.
On Brown, the antique-brass hardware scratches to a golden patina. On Black, the polished silver stays bright with use.
Without: coated pulls flake at the corners within a year, exposing a duller alloy beneath.

Padded leather top handles.
Full-grain rolled handles, padded for grip, threaded through metal D-rings, anchored to the body with polished rivets. Not glued. Not single-stitched through the leather.
Without: glued or single-stitched handles peel away from the body where the carry weight concentrates.

Trolley pass-through sleeve.
A full-width leather sleeve threads over the handle of a roller suitcase, keeping the bag positioned on top. Hand-set and stitched on three sides.
Without: bags without one slide off the trolley handle the first time the suitcase tilts.
Travel-system construction
05Double-stitched. Edge-painted.
Reinforced stress points. Hand-painted edges.
Every load-bearing tab — handle base, strap anchor, D-ring mount — is reinforced and double-stitched. Every cut leather edge is hand-buffed and edge-painted in three coats. Water does not wick into the seam.
Without: single-stitched anchor tabs tear free under load; raw-cut edges fuzz into a grey halo within a season.

06Studs on the base. Floor never wins.
Metal base studs.
Five metal protector studs on the underside. The leather base never touches the ground. The studs do. Stops scuffing on hotel-room tile, airport floors, the trunk of a car.
Without: a leather base without studs sands itself smooth in the first 90 days of real use.

Crazy Horse pull-up leather is meant to be worn. Lighter marks and changes in tone are part of its character, shaped by how you use and care for it.

Warm cognac with natural variation in tone and grain.

Scuffs and lighter pull-up marks can appear where the leather bends and is handled.
Broken in
With use, colour can deepen and creases become more visible.
Well travelled
Character shaped by handling, care and exposure. Every bag wears in its own way.

Does it come with wheels ? A shoulder strap ? No longer want to have to haul my leather bags through airports . I already have e two and would only replace with yours if I can wheel it !!!
Hi David, The Weekender Duffle is made to be travel friendly. It has a adjustable shoulder strap that you can wear as a crossbody. Additionally it also has a luggage strap at the back, which helps you to loop it on your suitcase handle making it easier for you to carry it around for the duration of your travel.

Will it actually fit in the overhead bin?
The Weekender measures 21 × 12 × 9 inches externally. Compare the packed bag, including its handles, with your airline size and weight limits. Check that your fare includes a carry-on; cabin acceptance is the airline's decision.
Does it survive being checked?
Yes. Full-grain leather handles checked-bag treatment better than rigid shells. It absorbs impact instead of cracking. Reinforced, double-stitched stress points handle the conveyor belt. The patina deepens; the bag doesn't break.
What if it gets wet on a rainy travel day?
Light rain, splashes, snow are fine. Pull-up oils give natural water resistance. Don't submerge it. If it gets wet, blot dry and air-dry naturally. Never use a hair dryer or radiator.
How big is the shoe compartment?
Fits up to a US size 13 (men's) / EU 47. Most travelers carry 2 pairs of dress shoes or 1 pair of sneakers + a dopp kit. Bottom-access zip keeps it isolated from the main compartment.
Will my laptop fit?
The Weekender’s specified laptop capacity is up to 19 inches. Screen size is a guide; actual fit depends on the device’s dimensions and any case. Listed bag dimensions are exterior measurements.

How do I care for it on the road?
Wipe clean with a dry cloth between trips. Condition every 3–6 months. Our Leather Care Kit is matched to the tannage. Store in the dust bag at home.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Lifetime against manufacturing defects: stitching, hardware, leather integrity. Repaired or replaced, our choice. Does not cover normal wear, misuse, accidental damage, or cosmetic aging of the leather.

Free standard shipping to Canada and the US. Applicable taxes and US import duties are shown at checkout.
Request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging. You cover return postage.
